new to this have starview 2usb lost all chanels in teeside how do i get codes and in stall them .

Version 4.506 PVR the box dated 15 oct 2007,as of other remote i mean going back to standard tv :P

what does it say in system information

the method you used to get into emu screen is for the starview pvr unless you meant Info 2004
easiest way to get into the cas screen is Menu/1570
when you turn emu on also set default key before exiting out.

factory reset / then scan for channels on ntl / then press menu - key in 1570 - then make sure emu is on / then try channels should be all back on

Ok so now i have the PVR the box,when you factory reset this box it has the language screen,then you get menu screen and the options are Installation
User set-up
Channel edit
System set-up

I do no that previously when i needed to change the codes i did System set-up/parental/i 2007/cas system/nagra 1/11 and changed codes....never failed !

In the cas system the auto update is on(these are the only 2 options you can change on this page.

Back to installation/choose NTL/auto scan and this morning it has found 27 channels only all tv with numbers etc after...



I have set up sv 5 usb 2 systems for other ppl and i know the menu's differ ie the keycode emu is easier to see,but the way i described is all this system will let you do so if i am missing something really easy then i need a good slap

I think the latest firmware says dec 2008 in system information

tryed get all chanel name still blank whole rea n off about a week go most bk on some sy you need new codes tryed your link not sure how to get on 2 starvew box .

if your box was working OK in the last couple of weeks then all you need to do is a default reset and rescan on provider NTL

then go into menu/1570 and turn keycode on and set default code

just done wht you said it finds all chanels but ony 1 to 5 and free view work others just blank screen.

normally you put it on to sky sports 1 and let it update

according to your other posts you have the starview 5 is this correct (if so the links in this thread are not for your box)
if its not a SV 5 then what model of box do you have
was your box working properly before the changes a couple of weeks ago

Hi guys, got the same problem. The BOX PVR latest firmware Dec 08. All autscan finds in TV6 etc no freeview channels or encrypted.
