Scrambled cable channels (Help)

I have a starview grooverider combo + hd box and suddenly i only get the free channels after a reset and scan it finds over 300 channels but most are scrambled . i have software ver F4.00 LDR Ver 00.21 Hardweare ver 1.20 latest update dec 12 2009 i live in Manchester and all was working fine till a couple of days ago Please speak slowly i have little knowledge of cable boxes

read slowly you mite understand have done a factory reset and done scan again?

have you turned keycode on???

where do i turn keycode on

check the stickies above for the tut about that box as there are a few settings you have to go through after you factory reset and auto scanned your box.
in downloads above in red read what it says to do ater the scan.

Starview Hd Combo None Lan

everytime i try to flash with the latest firmware it fails after 20 seconds, any ideas?

as there are 2 boxes are you using the correct file,all in stickies and in downloads,each model has its own firmware and not swappable.

i have the box super digital receiver and now i can only get the free channells like bbc and itv anybody got any ideas it was working fine untill now

check if you on the list if so its all over if not try factory reset then rescan, dont forget to reset the emu after scan. hopefully you will get a bit longer out of it yet

hi Georeg. dont know what area you in, seems Gtr Manchester area using new transponder (dont ask me) but the answer is to do a factory reset, install latest firmware (1.12) do recsan then turn keycode back on
