digivox xl usb need help installing sorry if this is a repeat of someone elses quest

i have a digivox xl usb which i believe is starview , my box went off in january and i have been trying to sort it out since to no avail , i followed steps from other forums and its getting me no were i must be doing something wrong properly the simplest thing , so sorry to trouble any one but could you help thanks

read what is printed on front of unit and also tell us what firmware is on it,menu-system info-?????,as that will guide us to what box,also helps to know general location because of nagra3.

when i go on system info says

I have no exprience with digivox but what exactly are the problems, what have you done and what is happening

is box new? if yes you have to flash latest firmware,then scan,then go menu/system info,press ok and type in 1004,turn on the emu,exit out to tv and let it update on a pay channel. if your area is n3 then its not worth bothering

the box isnt knew have had it about 1 and half years when i type in 1004 on system info cant see option for emu , im thinking there must be a seeting ive acidently chnaged if i do a factory default can some one send me a link to the method of the gigivox xl usb

did you press ok on system info? then type in 1004

leave nagravision alone,ok on set default key,itll just flash,then make sure keycodes enabled.exit out to tv and let it update

i have pressed set default key screen come up (saving ) and exited , as ive alredy pressed fac reset im re scanning for chanels will let you know what happens

lets hope you done it in right order,which should be factory reset first,,then scan,,,then put emu on,exit to a pay channel let it update
