checked that Mark....just got nothing straight after downgrade to 2.03. Not sure what else I can do, short of returning it! I would reload 2.06, if I could get a menu to see summat....LOL

was power off when putting stick in and taking it out?

doesnt matter how it happened. if it says 8882 it means only one thing. back to supplier

yes it does matter, he has not said it says 8882, but if it happened as i said, inserting stick with power on, then supplier is not liable as it was buyer who caused fault.

guys...I am a computer engineer by trade...I read the articles on here about insert/removal of usb etc. I powered off at the mainms before inserting USB....went through the download.....but the box never came back up after flashing.

FYI when I plugged the unit in straight from unpackin g....powered it on....it cycled 8882 then straight afterwards showed "6-01". It still scanned OK....and found channels...thats when I asked MArk about hte "$" sign etc.....so the box did work albeit I couldn't watch the channels because of the above prob. Since downgrading from Firmware 2.06 to 2.03, I havve not been able to get the TV to find the signal from the box though....oh well...looks like an RMA

what is display on front of box when switched on? it always goes throgh cycle as you said, 8882 then moves on, nothing to worry about, done thousands of these, never had one issue.

that may come up because of box not flashed,if 2.03 is on box you have to reset to default 0000 to delete,then auto scan your provider,get named channels,exit out then menu1570 enable keycode and exit,box should update if not on n3.

check scart connection pushed fully in as you should get a menu.

yes i said to default after flashing, just waiting on response on display. but looks like kent is more or less finished, just need right info to respond to.

..when I flashed ...the "downgrade" went on ok...that is, until It reset....i powered off, then on.....it cycled through 8882...etc...but no signal to screen. I can only assume that the flash did not complete correctly. As I cannot see any output to screen, there is little i can do.....or is there

what is it saying on front of box?

shows"----" or a random channel.....935 etc when on (on the front of the box) I can change the channel on the display.......but still nowt on TV

sounds like scart, is it in right socket, tv one, or is it loose.

not using scart.....cable to cable input....and aerial lead from TV Out......to tv thats how it worked initially...don't have SCART on my TV

no scart? can you try at someone elses, if it works there, rules out box problem. sure its down to connection, unless tv out is ~~~~ed.
