How to Manually update keys on Starview

I seem to be missing something.

I go to the nagra part of my SV4, change the code to suit my provider (CW).
Change code 0, press OK to save. It says it's saving it.

Do the same for code 1.

Exit.

Channels say they're updating but aren't.

I go back to nagra and my new codes have all disappeared.

Help!

Someone just posted this on another thread:

Could this be my prob? Still doesn't explain why my settings aren't being stored.

Mick, press menu - type 1570 on remote - press default key - then select provider - now input both key lines.

Didnt work sorry m8 tried both lines same as before when box fails to update i go back to nargra and its still goes back to nthell

my box pvr went off today as well but is dose not use the 1570 code it uses a diferent set up will this fix work with the box pvr

Mick select default key again, then turn SV off at back switch then back on. Now see if you can enter codes on the correct provider.

Similar except:

Go to parental control in receiver menu

press ( i or info button) + (2007)

key screen will be visible

Av also got The Box and yep you can get into the secret menu thru the parental controls bit as described above, gona try and sort this out in a mo I hope we can all get this back working soon enough!

i am getting realy confused and not sure what to enter i got into the nagravision page
provider id 54 01 00 NTL
key number 00

so i changed the key number to 02 it did not work and always seems to reset back to default so i tried 54 01 02 still the same 54 02 02 still will not work what am i doing wrong thanks in advance

If you are on NTL you dont change the provider ID, you change the 00 and 01 key lines.
