How to Manually update keys on Starview

Anyone else manually updated their "The Box" PVR, as still need help on how to enter the A B C D E in the key code section???

I've got the keys but...

Do the i + 2007 to get there but can't enter the HEX letters??

If someone has done this on their Box PVR could they let me know pm me or reply in this thread.

Puzzled

Im in a VM area which used to be N*TL but when i scan for channels the box needs to be set to TW (Telewest?) or it finds nothing. So I tried the TW keys but no luck

Have been reading the internet all night trying to get my starview 3 box working.
I gather i need the keycodes for TW in the Midlands. Can anyone help?

Hi just got my starview 4 USB box working on TW.
1. 1570
2. reset code
3. 5A 01 is for ex-tw areas. ** USED THIS **
4. Ran Keymaster
5. please note there are two codes ( thats what got me !!!! )
For CODE 00 go down to KEY 0 code line and enter the data from Keymaster KEY 0=
press OK to save
6. Move backup to key line and change to CODE 01
For CODE 01 go down to KEY 1 code line and enter the data from Keymaster KEY 1=
press OK to save
7. press escape twice

and then the channels should be back.

THANK YOU lamby i could not sleep till i got it sorted i did what you said and wam it works i was only entering 1 of the lines at a time then trying the other line entered key line 0 saved then entered key line 1 and saved and every chanel came back nice one - now i only have to put them back in the order that i like them because i did a factory reset thanks again mate now i will sleep well zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ps i used the pure keys for ntl

key emu?

I notice that the keys have changed again today. I input the new ones and still got "bad or scrambled channels" message. Turned key emu on and all channels back working. I thought I read somewhere that emu should be off for manual keys, could someone please clarify this for me.

guys...mine worked after putting a code in last night, then i woke up this morning and its doing the same. updating channels.
