help getting keyedit

I follow below but cant get the key edit up when pressing 8989 where do i check the auto update this really doing my head in as I have paid 200 for 5 channels

please can someone help me I have put the lastest carlin and grooverider on

Once the scan has finished go to menu then highlight accessory and on the remote press the numbers "8989" you will then see
"keyedit" appear on the right hand side, go to it and press ok and just check that auto update is on if its off just turn it on.
then go to to your channels by exiting the menu and pressing ok.. Select a non FTA channel and leave it until a picture appears
PLEASE NOTE IT CAN TAKE UP TO 5 MINUTES TO UPDATE

you also need to go to network and turn it on then go down to csnet press ok and turn it to ustream then exit and it will take a few seconds for it to say connected,once it is connected go to sky sports 1 for 5 minutes then that will be it.

make sure you are pointing the remote at the box after the scan when you press 8989 and it will come on,ps you dont need to go into keyedit as it is always turned on you only need to turn the network on then go into network and go down to csnet press ok it needs to be on ustream then exit it will say saving data.exit till you see a picture and go to sky sports1 for 5 mins and thats it all done.

thanks mate but how do i get ustream on when i go into network i turn it on then the ip addresses are filled in the one below this i can type an address in in the home stream server and i type ustream in but have no idea what this does?

its not in ip setup
go down to net applications.

I don't have the box so can't answer for sure but generally the keycode options etc. only become available when the box is flashed with correct firmware, so maybe you haven't flashed it correctly.

any idea which is the correct firmware for this hd +combo with lan as I can only get access to the main 5 channels and cant access through when im pressing 8989 im in coventry can i get the scrambled channels i have a sky dish and vm cable?

you need to flash it with grooverider hd combo+ 1214.uad first then flash it with the latest software carling+ 0712.uad.After this do a full scan,then when you have done this go to accessory and press 8989 and you will see key edit come above network.Go into network and turn it on then you will see cs net at the bottom,go into that and turn it to ustream and exit.go to sky sports1 for 5 mins and that is it.

just to check im flashing it properly. I load onto the usb stick when i get this up on starview I am pressing green button which saves the file and opens up another document. When i click ok to this one i save all and the system reboots is this right?

when i press ok nothing happens i need to press the green button for something to happen am i loading it onto the usb stick wrong then?
