when you download the file it is generally in .rar format so are you extracting the file before putting it on your usb pen

to flash menu/utility/usb/ you should now be able to see the flash file, highlight it and select s/w Upgrade option
you should then see it go through the motions of loading the file and at the end it should say upgrade complete system reboot after 3 sec

THE FILE SAY UAD FILE NOT RAR

if the file ends with the extension .uad it is already extracted (should be just over 8 meg in size)
