Hi guys I have had a good look round and i am still as confused about this, hopefully someone can give me some good advice. My two sons starview boxes died a couple of weeks ago, and i am looking to replace them. I don't want a dish, at the moment i have an internet connection and a router in one of the rooms upstairs, and hopefully the new boxes will be of the same price range, up to ?150. So please can someone recommend me a good replacement, any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I ran my starviews from my broadband feed, i do not have cable tv coming into the house will the broadnand feed plus the ethernet connection to router run the KV?Originally posted by JoKIf you ran starviews then you have the cable feed you need for the kv.
Plus an ethernet connection to your router, be it a long cable run or using homeplugs.

not sure if i'm missing something here, i took "cable feed" as being a cable tv lead coming into the house, or does it mean an actual cable, i'm getting more confused.
can anyone post exactly what is needed to run a KVA780 thanks.Comment

The cable feed into the box and an ethernet lead connected to your router.
THE TRUTH
The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12
Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.Comment

Thanks jok thats just the explanation i was after.Originally posted by JoKThe cable feed into your house is the same for BB or TV they just use a splitter to feed TV and modem.
So if you just have BB with them but no TV package then it will work fine, you have been using it to run starviews
So connections will be same as before with your starview plus an ethernet connection.
