Help with starview 7 setup

Problems with Starview 7

Hello, got my Starview 7 today. loaded the firmware "Carling 1.03" Scanned and found all the channels but can only view BBC, ITV etc.. All other channels say 'Scramble'. I already subscribe to the full packet. Want to use my box in another room. Can anyone help??

help, dowloaded carling 1.03 on computer then onto usb tried it on star 7 box and it says failed deleted it from usb and reinstalled now when i press the ok button on star 7 over the carling highlite it dosnt respond at all

Yes when you select usb in menu on box. Power-off box before
inserting or removing usb-stick
Read reply to your other post & read instructions as asked before
posting needless questions. When you have read info post back
with any queries

Starview is no more the server got busted by the cops and VM

a wedge will work just as well as a starview doorstop in ireland,
no starview or kv box works sorry to say on cable for the ordinary joe soap and whats underground is buried as not advertised.

I think be you need to be careful when you say no box works in Ireland.

Stating the obvious that subscriber STBs work perfectly but there are also smaller shares working on cable and an over indulgent payserver Sat service.

When I say over indulgent I mean the traders there are ex cable box traders that are less than knowledgeable to the CS side but very knowledgeable to the greed side.

So long story short "some" boxes work in Ireland.

Also, some people consider Northern Ireland to be part of Ireland.

Lets say that Starview and Kryptview cable boxes don't open encrypted channels in the Republic of Ireland.

i would have to agree with that statement,but they did show sly sports when open at the weekend .
