just joined the forum, did the fix, 5 mins of a job up and running thanks!

didnt work at first, had no encrypted channels till i hit default on the menu, dont know what that does cos im a newbie.

PLease can someone tell me, on the download the box super, i downloaded app file only, do i need to do anything with the channel data file if so: download or upload???

Hey im new to this, not really sure what i have to do. My starview box has stopped working and i have looked on absolulely hundreds of websites. Just come across this 1 today though. Looks really useful. Should it work straight away after downloading software?

Well after alot of reading and about 3 different cables i finally managed to get my box done, I would just like to extend my thanks to the author of the update and the many posts i have read in helping me acheive this.

At least now i can do any future updates on my own and not have to worry about paying/pestering anybody else to do it.

SV3 not working. please help!

Hi Guys,

I have updated the firmware on my SV? box, but i still cannot scan any channels. Could it be that the provider has blocked the signal? I am getting terestrial channels no problem. I have also gone into the menu 1570 set the default key and browsed to SS1, this use to work before but not anymore.
