What does this new update do? I'm running on version 8.02e and all is OK!
Is there a new firmware that lets me watch me recent films as the ones on sky are starting to get a bit boring now

There are alot of very clever helpful people on this forum! But always try and help yourself before asking for it! You will learn alot more that way.
I have learnt loads in the last couple of months thanks to Satsmo, Devilfish and many many more.

i run sv3 on 8.02e its fine touch wood ,but new firmware out 8.04e ,I might need it when i watching footy,film etc.has anybody tried new f/ware.any problem let us know.

bought usb rs323 cable of ebay (hl-340)disc did not work.
downloaded different drivers but still does not work.how do i fix this?
i have downloaded different drivers and gtgrom to my desktop but when i go to install the wizard cannot find the necersary software,canthis be fixed or do i need a new cable?

Hi I downloaded the latest GTROM
GTRom_Super_8.04e.exe
for starview 3 super.
Ive re scanned all channels etc emu is on.
This was all done approx 2-3 weeks ago, however it has not updated itself with the latest codes which are showing last updated 9 th jan. All the channels are now scrambled again which means having to manually re - enter the latest codes. I was under the impression that flashing with the latest GT Rom would allow the box to auto update itself.

Press the default key in the CAS menu and exit to Sly Sports. It should update as all others have.
