Need Firmware Update

Please give me permission to download the updated firmwire. I have update up to june 2008 and not able to see the channels for virgin in UK since 3 months.

i have updated my box but it still wont find any chanels
also when i go into nagravision its on ntl but im on virmin so it
has to be on telepest
does any one know what is wrong with it

firstly goto menu ..goto system set up...goto system infor...shud tell u wat firm ware is flashed to ur box ....see if u have had a successful flash if it says 8.04e,,it s ok....second try a autoscan.....if u r in the ntl area try ntl autoscan,,,,wait and see if any free view channels cum up....if they do put 1570 on remote to open secret cas menu ..turn emu on and press default,,,,exit 3 times to sly sports and wait for updateand everything shud b ok .......if u cant get the free view channels under ntl ..try a autoscan under telewest.....try the providers until u get the freeview channels ,,,when u do ..remember to turn the emu on to access the dollar chennels ..hope this helps ..bigfella

i have done that but now some times it will find the chanels and it will come on 4 a few minutes and then it will say scrambled chanel even on bbc 1. so i scan it again then it wont find any chanels. if its any help im in liverpool city center

What cable do i need to use?

by cable, what do you mean ? the cable to put firmware on your box(should be on already, 8.04) or cable provider? try xc/w or t/pest. ynwa

mine does this now and again, i go to menu then default then exit to slysps ten wait for update , works every time...ynwa

i have updated my box but now it wont find any chanels
i got i to work for half an hour but then scrambeld chanel came up and since then it will only work if i mess about with it for about an hour ie re flashing it and re loading my chanels file
but it will only stay on for a minit then says scrambled chanel again

does anyone think it might need the power supply replacing


some one please help as i have been trying to fix it for days and its doing my head in

ps. i know i have posted in other threads but i still havent fixed it

if it is a sv3 that you are using its not compatable with a channel file because they shift them about so much you will have to do a auto scan after flashing then turn your emu on set default k*y then exit to sly sports 1 and leave to update

to access emu press menu 1570
