If it's def. not scart, try AV/TV button on remote.
Does LED on box flash when you press any key on remote.
          You can try this if you like;
          MENU
          Hit DOWN key
          RIGHT key
          DOWN key twice
          OK key twice
keep pressing OK until red LED on box flashes

Thanks for feedback. Just wanted to verify that procedure to
revive LED on box actually resets box to factory default

I have had the same problem with the blank screen (Ucr). Tried the method to get to factory default but it still reverts to the blank screen. Its not a AV issue and aI have also tried reflashing the box with new firmware and still no luck. Can anyone help

Have you tried pressing TV/AV button on remote. I don't use
this box so I don't know what fault UCR on box denotes to. Did
you by any chance insert or remove USB-stick without powering
off box. If the TV/AV button doesn't work I would try LED revival
method again & keep pressing OK until box responds.
What firmware did you use on box, try latest Carling 1.04
                            Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview 7 Carling V1.04

Have tried the TV/AV button. Its not that. Have tried the LED option multiple times and doesnt work. It doesnt reboot, just seems to freeze.

I have tried the factory settings method on other boxes and has resolved the issue but doesnt have any effect on this box. Have also tried flashing with carling 1.03 and carling 1.04 to no effect.

Trying to figure another way of trying to get it back to the factory default.
