starview 7 says not connected at the bottom

mine says connecting and has been all day what does that meen and what do i have to do ive rebooted everything modem/router/starview and still says connecting ive noticed some ppl say not connected what does mine meen thanks in advance

Means your box is trying to connect to server & server not at home

Less frequent than the servers!

should be no reason why you will need to update to get fta channels< as that is all these give now>

My starview 7 has been saying not connected at the bottom for over a month n i concluded that the sever is down and not coming back but if that's not the case then can someone plz help me and tell me what us update and how to do it i seriously need help and i only got starview 7 for the football but it seems like my money has gone to waste

sorry to say, but its over. so look at kryptview, or even better, have a read round the sat section, dreambox 500 i a good starter.

Hi,
I have the same problem, sv7 on 2.12 f/w, all free view work but 1819 no luck, when change channels on bottom of box say NOT CONNECTED. I left it all night , I have tried all the usual solutions like rebooting & factory reset but still nothing. no luck. but on the same place/wires the other sv7 work fin,
PLs Any help what will be need to fix ?

Question !!
Do all the guys who are not connected update a few boxes from there home ??
My guess is SV are blocking ip's that update boxes on a larger scale than normal as it's done this to a few people I know, but they like I said have done a few boxes.
This is Just a theory but I cant think of anything else.
