hi all help totaly confused now dont know wat to do i have down loaded carling 104 on s/w upgrade and on boot loader upgrade but cant get box to work wat am i doing wrong any help most apriceated thanks all

Hi guys maybe its me still being drunk from new years eve or im blinded fromm all the internet Pr0n but i ordered my mate a SV7 as i have got one myself rather then tinker with his new one as i was going out i gave him mine, i'm following the same set of instructions and using carling 1.04 scanned got EMU on but for the life of me cant find bloody USTREAM haha.

new 1.04has no setting to select now it does it automatically

loading firmware problems!

Hi,having probs loading carling 1.04,followed instructions,go to utility-usb-highlight carling file-press ok,nothing happens,i donot have the option to select sw+all data update,?

AFTER you read tutorial START AGAIN. Factory reset SV7 box.
Select S/W & all data update(s/w upgrade) on USB
Then follow rest of instructions in tutorial. If you don't know
correct sym. rate when scanning, try 6952. If that doesn't work
try 6887.

This is nothing to do with the box turning off on the 4-nov-2011....that is when the connection to your modem/wireless router is valid til. The message of "Valid to x-xxx-xxxx" appears in the bar where it used to just say "connected" when you have an internet connection, so dont panic...it will probably just re-establish the connection after this time (or change the vaild to date once your box is rebooted).

The one thing I did notice though, is you dont have an option under the menu options-->network--> for net application or to change it to USTREAM! The box seems to just do that as defaut now, however my network connection settings never seemed to work when selecting the Automatic option, I had to manually enter my IP and subnet mask details to get the box to connect to my wireless router (via VAP11G wifi bridge)! Bit of a strange one....

sevo are you sure abt that? my box says connected valid till : 2011.10.01 for me that means 01/oct/2011 but when i check the expiry date for the internet lease it says 10 january 2011... i dunno wot to think??!

Looks the same to me. Can't understand why Satsmo allowed
same f/ware version to be posted twice. Must be confusing for
novices at flashing boxes

think maybe he changes it to the latest on first post,to keep the latest on view and when reading on may have an older one listed

No No Cacti, there are 2 separate Carling 1.04 SV7 firmwares
listed in DOWNLOADS

Sometimes satsmo goes on a little holiday
