      this go's out to any working starview 7's users, can you pm me your ip setup info, ie network settings, ip address, subnet mask, gateway, 1st dns,2 dns. I would like to add this to my starview hd combo plus lan to see if i get a result, plus i have [email protected] i would upload it but i don't know how to.

        no you wont ,they say they are looking at the combo after sv6 and sv7 are done,no emails are allowed as in forum rules,there are posts relating for the combo sat side fix around the forum to read and guide you

                put it on stick, load on to box, dont do factory reset, go to ss1, type in 1819, it should be working, make sure lan connectiion is in, thats how i done mine and its going fine, hope this helps

                    best bet is keep a pendrive just for doing this sort of thing,Dont be like me i was keeping all the files that were flying about and this just confused me,so i wiped them all clean and now i just save any update files to a folder on my pc,and the latest one i put onto the pendrive,of course thats my way as iam allways downloading diffrent things to try them out,i really should just leaf things to the experts,But as they say its the only way to learn

                        Thanx, my box went off middle of Feb and the guy who supplied the box has disappeared also.......I'll try this to see whether I can get it up & running
