Five attempts and still getting ON. I can reset box back to older firmware no problem. I have also tried loading firmware and then switching box on - still the same. I wonder if anybody can confirm what previous firmware they had loaded prior to success - it may be something to do with previous versions!

Indications are that you must go into the cas menu and make sure key emu is ON before you flash to eliminate the black screen. Certainly seems to be a bit hit and miss.

Folks I have pulled it, they are taking a look at it. But by all means check what bugaloo has said above.

My apologies but I was informed that it had been tested and worked fine. It will cause no damage to any genuine boxes and you can revert back to your previous firmware version.

Could be something simple, but as said if it doesnt work for all, I am not happy to have it in downloads.

                            My apologies.

EDIT: Looks like those that had it working were using 4.54 before updating with the patch but will need to verify this.

OK I will open this one back up. The reason it hadnt worked on some boxes as suspected they were pre 4.54 version. I will have it up in a few minutes.

I will include the same fixed file, but also include the readme and all thats required for those that need to upgrade before adding the patch.
