    Starview 7 problem

    i have a problem with my starview 7, it is not getting recognised by my wireless router, its currently wired to the router through a network cable. All cables and router fine because got another sv7 which once plugged in works perfectly fine. Any ideas ???

      in ip setting its just full of 0's, its set to automatic. I upgraded it to carling 1.04 but still no joy

              yeah tried rebooting router, the light on the router doesnt even come on when its connected up to the sv7

                now thats odd.. try something else in that port. like a lappy or pc. also try sv in different port on router.

                    plugged laptop into network cable turned off wifi that worked fine and just tried changing to different port still no joy, do ya think the box may have gone faulty ?

                        make sure you have a good working cable and is in fully,i have heard the odd lan cable may not connect,and remember box off at back and modem/router off then on

                        if you updated firmware,did you factory reset and rescan without lan,load the channel list then insert lan and reboot both units

                            What is your broadband provider, if its talk talk let us know we may able to help? The worse internet provider for star.
