GTROM - Caused dL to be the only thing on box

i have also had a problem with downloading.
what i did was i put the Gtrom8.200 or whatever it is called onto my box and it completed fine.
when i plugged my box back into my tv the tv was blank(black) and the box read dL.
i then tried to put other Gtroms onto my box for example 8.00 but the same thing happens.

does anybody have any suggestions to how i can resolve this?
can i remove the gtroms and just go back to putting codes in myself (with the box actually working - and can i remove the dL?

Like babes my box super just displays dl since putting
GTRom 8.whatever a couple of years ago and I too have sought a fix through forums but gave up as it seems some request are more favourable.. if the box is a brick then at least we should be told..

what box do you have, and why were you trying to load this on box? the loader is a pc app, then you choose file to load on box. but go to download section and get latest file for your box, connect everything up ready with box turned off, now start download and after a couple of seconds turn box on, this may take a few attempts, but worth a try.
