Starview Combo HD LAN Satellite side Answers

Hello Bytemaster likedwhat u sat out to do .. I am awaiting delevery of my starview combo and could do with help setting it up .. m8 i am new to sat side .. know my way on cable .. your expertise would be most useful.

I have a HD starview combo box with lan been using cable side but that is no longerworking.booohoo...trying now to get sky side working..i have been sent free 2 day trial and have tried to input info they sent me on Cccam,which is already on starview box it says...Please paste this line on to one line in your CCcam.cfg file on your receiver,i cant seem to do that...the only way it allows me to put info on ccam is separately..on server setup it has Type/name or ip address/port/id/password/des key....i input info sent and apply but it still stays on disconnected aaarrgghhh what am i doing wrong??? will the software for dream box work on SV Box? or is there something else i need to do?

My situation is also the same as redders1974, slyfoxy and bazigar007 and I also would be extremely grateful if you could give me some help with regards to the sat side... I have my head around the C*S* basics but would appreciate directions and you both seem knowledgeable and trustworthy to ask.

Which firmware for SV HD COMBO

Guys, Which firmware should I be putting onto my SV to run the S*Y side of the combo with C/S? I did have the Cable side but recently updating my box caused it to brick so I am going to do the recover method with the null modem cable. I did have both running alongside with the carling and just freesat on 28e. Just be nice to know before I bother to do the recovery
