this fix combines the previous fix with the logo so you only use the one file , so you can stay with the 8.02ee fix if you have already done so , but anyone updating from a previous image should use this one as its a straight flash into your box

this bin file is only for the sv2 known as THE BOX , it is not for any other model , so its not for the box pvr , and not for the starview 1 either. do not try using this on the wrong model or you may brick it

so this is for the box sv2 only and can be used no matter which image was in before

the correct cable to use is a 9 pin to 9 pin serial null modem crossover cable , and use a usb to serial adapter as well if you havent got a com port on your pc or lappy ( use both in that case ) , and use xp and not vista or any other os

Hi mate i have starview the box 2 , and seem to be having trouble with my pc recognising it, tried rs32 to com port and usb to serial but still no joy any ideas mate ? thanks in advance.

there has been no rolls for months but a new encryption called nagra3 is shutting boxes down.

Just registered at week-end and totally new to this ,just back from hols to discover no channels on my box (the box) done the obvious things but nothing ,have read your answer but do not no where to look can you advise me on route to go ,any help would be great thanks, from Perth in scotland,thanks

Hi and welcome to DK

unfortunately Perth has gone to nagra 3 encryption which means your days of free TV are over, there is no fix for these boxes and more than likely never will be.
search nagra 3 for more info
