ok so i had a starview box usb2 obvs dead and no good anymore. just wondering what i can buy to get all those channels back except the obvs sky or virgin cable. so can someone point me in the right direction

I for one am looking is to Sat I did have a SV like a lot of people but as we all know it is now as much use as tits on a fish I have had a look in to Sat and there appears to be a lot more support for it i am looking at getting a DM500S any way SV is dead now but it was good while it lasted

you can pick up a ccam box for as little as ?100 on fleasbay then just find a half decent small scale server to access everything,, job done.
some sellers even offer a weeks "gift" to get you started.

the openbox s9 hd is a good one to consider, dont pay more than ?100 though.

if your not bothered about HD channels, then go for the DM500S can be picked up for around 50 quid.

These star6-7 with LAN connection may be dead for now but is one off the most advanced box ever build this century, we all know in order to see s*y paid channels dre** box was used to transmit connection between the server to homes via routers and this cable star works the same ways, only time some has to open the server and they will be up running again, it can be done just like sk*.

starvew most advanced box ever built, wtf are you on about. These Starview box's are simple box that are designed for one job only. Are you telling me a Dreambox, that runs a Linux operating system are poor compared to the Starview, wake up and smell the coffee.. wtf have you been doing all morning sniffing glue or exhaust fumes.
