I see far more jokes on here that are Catholic than Muslim. Provided a joke is not blasphemous, I see no harm. In both of the above cases the joke is word play, there is no direct insult to Islam or Muslims in general.

If you think otherwise, then may be you are a little over sensitive or trying to find issues where there are none to be found!

at the end of the day,they are just jokes,and should be seen as just that,and if you cant giggle at some then you are in fact a sad person. jokes have always been aimed at religion/disability,or the irish, etc. but most peeps laugh at them just the same as you should. peeps are to quick to jump on the religion bandwagon,

I've also seen a lot of jokes directed at the Irish & blondes. Yet I don't see any of the blonde irish muslims complaining.

The sooner everyone either accepts that religion is just outdated rules designed to keep the population in check, or that everyone can have their own beliefs without stirring shit about it, the better.

almost 90% of muslim names are taken from our holy book, they all have a significant religous meanin

im not a sad person, im actually quite very happy

as for the isrish or the blonde maybe they hav no spine 2 stand up for themselves, i see alot of jokes on here that make me laff, some of them do hav religion in them but it isnt takin fun out of it 2 this level

i wont post any further on this matter as i hav no time for internet hardmen, evry1 can be bad man sittin in front of his pc

I'm sorry to say that you've missed the obvious on this one!

There are many jokes here with pictures of bare breasted women and indeed some that are naked, as far as I am aware this contravenes Islamic teachings....

I'd like to understand why someone using an (Islamic) biblical name is not acceptable to you but tits, bums and other parts of naked females seems to be OK??

I'm really trying to understand this, I am not looking to upset anyone! In fact I sit on my local Church council and I don't think my telling a joke refering to Saint Peter at the gates of heaven in a Church council meeting would cause offence provided that the joke was in good taste!

Does Islam have different views on these things?
