Seems like anything is considered as being ok in the UK, to keep the peace and save the paperwork.
You can burn poppies, the national flag and no one gives a ~~~~ but threaten to burn the Curran and all hell would break loose and a ?50 fine would be a prison sentence, where's the justice, oh I forgot there is none any more when it comes to political beliefs etc.

I think you'll find that if you stand in a crowded street and set fire to anything which causes people to fear for their own safety you'll be charged with a criminal offence. Whether it was poppies, a flag or a bible or whatever makes no difference.

The subject is inaccurate he was not fined for burning poppies he was fined for a public order offence.

The man is guilty, and was found guilty, of a public order offence and is now just your average common criminal with a record that will stay with him for the rest of his life.

This country has gone worse then the communist regime because of most people do not want to challenge our govt, you can get done by just throwing a dead cigarettes on the street, the new law is coming you can not smoke in the car, most pubs closed down due to smoking issues, I believe we are under the cruel regime under control order if you like it or not.

So if you had a batch of said poppy's that were past their sell by date - properbly another shite EU law, nobody knows of, and they got wet, went mouldy and dried out, if you lit a bonfire on 5th november with said smelly poppies would it matter?
