Is the UK correct in taking military action against Libya?

In the British Parliament, a vote took place recently on the "'military action taken against Libya". Only 13 MPs voted against the government's decision in taking military action. There was a 544 majority in favour of the government's decision.

I'm interested to know what the parliament of Digital Kaos thinks about the UK's involvement in taking military action against Libya...as has been observed over the past few days.......

So here's my go at conducting a survey.

    Edit:

This hasn't worked..... tried to add POLL to this post, but was too late (needed to be done within 2 minutes)

    The Poll was to be

Yes.... UK correct in taking military action against Libya
    and
No... UK wrong in taking military action against Libya

(try and find out how to do this...)
    59
    Yes....

"why not bomb him in the eighties after the lockerbie bomb"

      Am not taking sides but...
Why not bomb the Americans after they FIRST blasted a Libian passenger plane in mid air killing hundreds of innocent men, women & children?

TBH it's an internal civil war where civilians are getting hurt. I'd have thought if anything that getting the civilians out would be the most important and then leave the 2 armed sides to slug it out. So if they want to remove the armaments then they'd have to bomb both sides.

Do the police get the choice of where they intervene - No they don't, why should the UN be any different? They should take action and enforce every UN resolution, not pick and choose.

If it's about saving protesters form being killed what happened to China, or do we keep on with the double standards as usual?

Otherwise no, we have no business being there.

                              @alom5

Heard that the Cruise Missiles are USD $600,000 each. Don't know if that's the trade price or not... UK's probably shook deals with US at 1.2 million each, thinking that was a good deal
