        Was painting a house last week and they had one,they sprayed some powder near the entrance and took it to the nest.
        No wasps next day but was told no point in blocking holes they will find a way in but the good thing is they only will stay for that nest then move on if the nest is left with no action taken.

          Had the same problem myself,i just made thousands of miniature claymores and laid them along the joists in the loft,it killed all the wasps but it kept us up all night...

            after 3 cans of wasp nest destroyer foam 2 cans of raid wasp killer and 2 bottles of the powder we finally got it killed off
            but there were still about 30 live ~~~~ers
            more knock down spray
            ok there were 5 to 10 thousand dead uns
            my wife scooped most of it out into a big tub
            the sheer amount of them was scary

                    you will never get rid of them they will be back checking out the neighbourhood for a new home as i saw 5 or 6 around the rafters again,thats why it says profesional on the can .
