I've used the likes of Kwik Fit for a lot of years now, it's usually cheaper, no dirty hands and no dirty oil to dispose of.

                put it this way.

You have a bucket of water in one hand, in the other
                a bucket of treakle.

Which do you want to tip in the garden in the least amount of time?

every 6 months, cols starts, not getting hot, turbo charger, super charger. overfuel problem

yes, good guy doit. why do it at 50,000000000 miles, it buggers things up.

polo 100,000 mile oil (think) - what a dumb idea. Does the desginer of that engine/oil only change the oil in thei chip pan every 10 years?

Check for a large cloud of smoke when you start up & when you hammer it down a slip road.

Do all my own work. Just had to fit a push button start after the bar at the back of the barrel snapped. Not worth spending money on a replacement barrel.

I only change my oil once a year. It's 18 years old with just short of 200,000 miles on the clock. The engine is still the strongest thing on the whole car. She's burning a little oil now, but I've had fords that drank more oil as standard.

Won't touch gearboxes. Or timing on newer cars, mine was the easiest thing I've ever seen.... First pot TDC, line up the cam markings to the case, tighten up the tensioner..... Fired first turn.

Got a diesel astra to do soon... not looking forward to that.
