Not a racist in the actual term of things, but I would say I am a nationalist (people need to understand the difference, and no it does not mean I am a Nazi)

Racism starts in the home, as kids we pick up on what our parents do & say.
So if you grow up with someone who openly hates brown people (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh) the chances are you will also have a hatered for the same people.

The thing that really pi$$es me off is the ignorance that goes with it.
My mam remarried, but he's a w@anker (technical term but very apt). He comes from a long line of inbred morons from Hartlepool (sorry True grit), & yes, he is racist...with a very low IQ.
The problem is my little brother has picked up this annoying trait. While out shopping last year he made a racist comment about someone in a shop. Something about a stinky Pakki. I couldn't help my self. I turned on him & pointed out that the person he was refering to wasn't from pakistan, they were from India... if he insisted on being a racist he should at least understand the difference between races & religions then work out how these people have offended him so much that he should feel that way.
I wasn't quiet as I ranted at him. Must say, I was happy to see some approving faces in the shop.

He's not said anything since then, at least in front of me.


But like shady, I can laugh at the jokes...just like I can laugh at those directed to whites & the british stiff upper lip.
