vm blocking sites ??

Hi all,

Just wondering, i have a problem accessing 1 site on internet,
all other sites are fine, have tried accessing it from my mums house and the website is fine,
On having a scout around the internet, ie google is friendly
i have found a few places complaining about virgin blocking sites,
Just wondering as I didnt think it was legal for a start, and how can they just do it

Have you tried accessing it on a different pc from your house or logging on to the site with a different browser.

I've reported Vm to admin on DK.. Now they will hopefully be blocked from this site..

Not sure but don't think VM block any sites.

Site blocking is legal.......BT have lately been ordered by court to block Newzbin2 and the MPA have asked VM and Talk Talk to also block that site but they said "not without a court order"

Have you tried the site through google and not by going directly there, we used to bypass Websense in work that way.

tried, different browsers, plugging direct into modem,

DID ACESS IT FROM MY MUMS she has sly bb

cant say the site, its not a ~~~~ site (shady )

but the question was really are virgin allowed to do this ??

Maybe your ip is banned from the site. And is nothing to do with vm.

definately not banned from the site

have you tried another pc on your net to connect to the site.

try using smartphone connected to your net and try axs the site.

Could be a problem with ur pc or firewall etc.

its not the laptop, pc, tablet, smart phone, tried them all,

if you google this problem its not just the site i can't get on

Oh right, well am vm and am all ok not blocked from any sites.

Try pinging the site.. see how many packets are lost..

whats pinging, and a lot of people cant access this particular site
