My daughter ordered a very cheap portable dvd player on the web. The sent her a phone worth over ?500

The product code was only a digit out, the invoice was for ?24.

She ask me what she should do, I said do what you think is the right thing to do.

She rang them and told them, they thanked her for her honesty.

What would you have done ???

flogged the phone and bought another dvd player from them.. see them signs saying to check your change before you leave the shop? well that works both ways imo

I have to say Jaffa,I find your daughter's thought process highly commendable.

However,in this day and age,it's a tad naive.

well, its happened to me a few time that i was given too much change or undercharged, and i always give it back, cause its always in small shops and i know how hard it is to make their living.
however if it was a bank or a big company, id say fcuk em, they are no strangers to screwing ppl themselves
