Milk Of Magnesium (where has it gone?)

I suffer from an ulcer or two in the stomach. And when its at its worst I would use Milk of Magnesium or MoM.

It appears that in recent months no-one stocks this great ulcer pain reliever anymore and all the chemists and assistants in them are at a loss as to why they can no longer get any of it.

Im pissed at them. This was my one comfort in the knowledge I had a spare MoM in the fridge.

Anyone know where to get this or something as good or better for ulcers?

Yeah, but once you try to order it, its out of stock.

Ive been in store asking and they have no answer.

Gaviscon is nooooo good for the pain. It works if you drink an entire bottle and some milk.

when i was in my teens, i was 'reading' a copy of razzle or something similar and there was a 'guess what the white stuff poured on my tits is' game.
the answer that particular time was milk of magnesia.
that's all i know about the stuff and the only time i have heard or seen reference to it - as a cheeky substitute for man gravy.

They dont kill pain, they are more of a prevention for flare ups. I had an endoscopy at the start of 2012 and STILL waiting on them results ffs.
