    British Gas C**TS

I've just, this very morning, had a pre-pay metre fitted.
The engineer detected a 6 milibar drop which is in within the tolerance of 8 milibars whatever all that means.
He then tells me that he's had to phone the National Grid to come and replace the shut off valve as its stiff. Clearly he didn't have a tin of WD40.
National Grid man turns up 20 minutes later, replaces the valve but informs me that the original engineer has phoned them to report a gas leak and, as such, even though it's within tolerance, the national Grid cannot allow any tolerance and he's capped the metre.
He advises me to ring British Gas back to get the engineer to come back to remove the cap and turn the gas back on.
A bit round the houses but okie dokie.
British Gas then tell me that it's not their responsibility to remove the cap and I would have to pay a gas safe engineer to come out to remove the cap.
"Get to f**kery!" was my response.
"A metre you've JUST fitted is not your responsibility?"
The National Grid was confused as to why he's been called out in light of the situation.
I'm currently waiting for a ring-back from a British Gas manager.
Meanwhile, in preparation for being told the same bullsh*t story, I have contacted a gas safe engineer and explained the situation.
Their response was that, if it's been capped by National Grid, then they won't touch it.

    Just what the f**king f**k?!?!?

Ring them up - who ever and say

"my brother has a crisis*, i have to look after my neice/newphew who are under 7 years old tonight at 8 pm"

You NOT lieing your brother is working at 7 PM - he can't log onto DK - valid crisis.

Or that water you can do that with.

Just remove it yourself... It's only a cap they put on the outlet pipe from the meter to the house. Just turn the gas off from the meter then unscrew the nut on the outlet pipe and remove the cap then retighten.
                Jobs a good one...

Go back to British Gas and tell them that when you nailed your scrotum to the kitchen table for the purposes of sexual gratification, and you forgot your pliers weren't within arms reach, and that they're in toolbox in the shed..

They will come back to your fine establishment and reconnect you to them.. (whatever that means?).

OK so if your lisetning GERMAN GAS

You called me TWO weeks ago, to try and con me out of more money, but with no warning the cell phone battery died, tried to call you back on your 0800 number left on the display - outgoing calls only.

then you called whilst i was beating up a costomer at work, you were told, no problem call when off line, still waiting for you to call back.

Still never managed to get a gobfull of abuse down the phone.

british gas is really centrica national grid is national grid

When the real british gas broke up in 1997 i think it created a few companies

National grid does network pipes ect

                          Centrica does household bills

                          BG group does exploration

Think theres a few more cant remember them lattice group might be one and some other power company i only know cos me grandad ended up with shares in em all
