    got a Canon 400D coupled with a 18-270 tamron lens and a Olympus ep1 with an old 0.95 canon 50mm lens. love the 400D wish it had live view.

    Nice quality skeg.. altho golf... nah, spoils a good walk. I did like the look of them sony's. Good ratings too. Just swapped my Pano TZ5 for a Nikon D70, old stuff, but beautiful quality pics, unfortunately not had good subjects yet.
    Got a waterproof Pentax too, well, the missus's. Takes nice pics, simple too. There is a fish photo in my profile from Egypt.

    You don't really need rechargeable batteries. You can recharge duracell normal batteries. Though I would recommend getting a charger that charges normal batteries to do this.

    Sony Alpha a200 here, a superb camera with reasonably priced used Minolta/Tamron lense, I love it.

    Maybe its an extremely long 'bulb' setting, give it time, and it might come out exposed bang on.
