If you contact ebay cs all they will do is tell what you already know and suggest you contact the seller which youve already done ,but id just keep trying the number you have , i prefer to leave the chinese to the only thing they are good at , cooking

Seems like the seller isnt going to play ball, the cost of returning it to PRC is going to be higher than buying a replacement.
The only thing left im afraid is to sell it as spares or repairs on fleabay, get a new one and put it down to experience
            Fave replies from various threads

1: What the fff is all that about??? All that crap below your reply I mean, get a life mate
2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about,
3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives

YOu have his phone number and his email, sign him up for some tasty pron sites and double glazing.

If you have his address then don't forget to add 2 to the number but put his name on when you sign him up for some postal pron.

You could always tell him your going to the trading standards. Even give them a ring. He will have to honour the guarantee. Its classed as distant selling. Up to now its not what you thought it was. No guarantee. Worth given them a try them email the guy and tell him your going to trading standards

Hi, when you say packed up, what exactly do you mean?
is there a back light on it? I say this because a lot of them chinese tablets just neeed a reset most of the time or a re-flash.
try the reset button(hole) if you haven't already, leave a pin there for at least 15 seconds and if that doesn't work you can try to enter recovery(usually volume up or down and power button pressed together until an android robot appears).
Hopefully that may kick start it for you!

you may sruggle if its more than 60 days if it doesnt work it doesnt work

Is he a big seller? lots of feedback?

How did you pay credit card? if so chargeback i think you get 180 days minimum for a chargeback

If credit card dont even bother contacting ebay do a chargeback with credit card, even some debit cards can offer similar protection

You could always contact ebay or seller and say you will do a chargeback if not sorted

Be aware tho if he has little feedback or no items for sale he will probably just empty paypal account, if its not already empty to avoid paying chargeback paypal get the bill then

But if he is still selling the threat of a chargeback even if you did not pay on credit card may be enough to get a replacement

Sellers do not like negative impact from chargebacks give him 5 days, if he is still a seller and trading money will come straight from his paypal if you paid on credit card, so the threat may just make him pay anyway
