Atari 2600 VCS with WOODGRAIN finish i kicked ass at dig dug and even still have it with cartriges.

      Then a 48k Spectrum.
Then a 128k+2a Spectrum, with a few interfaces. (still have this too with a stack of cassettes)
Then an Amstrad PC 1640HD20 ran dos on an 8mhz 8086 with 640k of memory, first computer i really learned x86 assembly on with shitty microsoft MASM and debuggers.

Then i upgraded to a 286, then 386 SX (32bit REAL mode!), then i got me an AMD K6 and ive never looked back.

Between all this ive had non "pc" gear like an Amiga 500 and later 1200 and consoles like the Nes, Snes, Megadrive etc.

Ive always been computer daft, spending more on gear than on anything else in my life, used to save relentlessly to buy hardware and bootleg everything i could get my hands on to get new gear

                        same here a BBC-B , tape deck

i used to sit up all night typing in the proframmes out of the BBC Micro monthly magazine and often accidently hit the exit key and lost all my work.

you can still play these games on your PC using a Beeb emulator, from here

and download thousands of BBC games here , chuckie egg is there too

                          I am sure i paid ?499 for my first computer , BBC-B

used to take about 20 mins to load a game, it came with some demo speech tape and learning tapes for kids, it had one of those etch-a-sketch games too , and pong , the tennis game , where you had to have 2 peeps using same keboard to control a bat each end of the screen and a square ball to bat.
