MIne was a Vic 20, got a 64 after another year or so. still know some of the basic programming. The tape drive took forever to load, but a floppy drive was over 200.00 and I could not afford one.

i was anti spectrum hated them with there dodgy colours did it only have 3 btw if i rememnber rightly commodore was the king

My first computer was an Amstrad CPC464 then progressed to an Amiga, both I have purchased since from ebay and played often, I believe there is some emulater software you can get these days?

There is indeed. Try this site: Planet Emulation - Les jeux video ont aussi leur histoire ! it's get (almost) everything you need to get an Amiga (and others) emulator going on your PC. It's in French but it's easily navigable.

What it doesn't have is the kickstart roms as they're copyrighted but you can easily find them on torrent sites.
