I'm waiting for the breathalysers to come in on a Monday morning in the next few weeks. Wouldn't put it past them.

If you work for DHL Exel this already happens, they do Random Drug & Alcohol tests, if youre found positive they class it as Gross Misconduct and youre contract is terminated.

Also if you run on Tachos these are analysed every week and if they see any speeding ie going over 54mph which the vehicles are limted too, you will get a warning 3 warnings and again your out.

If you're wondering how you speed in a restricted vehicle, If you press clutch down on a steep hill they will go over the limited speed!!!! Not Advised as you dont have much control over Vehicle and will take a long time to stop in an emergency!!

Like another member said if you drive why risk you're job over speeding drink or drugs. It is'nt worth it!!!

Yes I had a good argument with my manager over this, as if you smoke cannabis it stays in you system for up to 2weeks if you take Ecstasy you can flush it out you're system within 48Hrs.

So I said to my manager you're forcing me on to harder drugs as, if I smoke cannabis on Fri night you will find out on Mon! If I now take ecstasy on a Friday night I will be clear by Monday morning.

Typical manager came out with the answer "You shouldn't take any drugs"
