I havent recieved anything through the door, and upon doing research online found that they have to issue you a N.I.P (Notice of Intended Prosicution) within 14 days or it is void.

Anyone got any info on what to do?,I am fully expecting it through the door, but really want to know if anyone knows or has had a similar situation, before I punch my fist in the air and celebrate.
hi there, your right they do have to give you a nip within 14 days. but they usually sen it out on the 14th, for example, you were caught on the 1st november. they will send it out on the 14th november. this meaning the letter is posted and dated the 14th, within the time limit. this goes for speed tickets too

        hope this helps

just too establish a fact accidents do happen when people use phones on the move as i found myself when steve irwin died my phone was red hot with jokes i was reversing my truck into a bt depot whilst reading a text and just kept rolling into a bt van that was parked up

not too much damage to van as i was going slow but work were not too pleased with me

drink driving has never been legal though.

what about disabled drivers? who dont have the use of both arms or one arm, by reading your comments I could label you as someone who wouldnt agree with them driving?

Take it they are a danger to all our kids?
Having a disability is not their fault, someone who drives under the influence of drink, mobile or anything else come to that deserves to get points.

Its not their fault, but does that make them any safer than someone using a mobile phone???

Its not about what people deserve, its about how safe it is.

Its a lesson I will have learned anywyas, whether I get the points or dont.

Still,I thought by the way they stuck on the blue light and sped onto the other side of the road to catch me, that I had been on the ten most wanted list. They were more of a hazard than me.

There is a clampdown on road traffic offences just now, must be low on the budget or something?? since then I have actually seen a copper on the phone whilst driving.

I challenge anyone on here that drives and has a mobile, to honestly say they havent drove whilst on the phone, and before it was made illegal, did you used to think to yourself, ooh, this is really dangerous, i may run over someones kids??
I'm no saint Mate and when i first had access to a mobile (20+years ago) , i never gave a thought to using it , but i'm not too old to learn !
After seeing so many lives being destroyed for the sake of a quick "hello" or "where are you" , it sits on the rear seat , that way . i've got to stop to use it .
