I work in a supermarket, so ive got a loooooooong list.
            Keeping it relatively short though:

1: People are assholes at christmas, ive been spat on, bitten, kicked, mowed over by trolleys, threatened to be stabbed all because we've sold out of turkeys
2: people stealing from each others trollies, someone picks up the last of something on a shelf and maddness ensues.
            3: stupidly long queues.
4: wierd panic buying. "oh shit they ran out of goosefat, quick buy up stacks of bogroll to compensate"
5: getting to work is insane with suicidal traffic.

Christmas brings out the worst side of humanity whilst being ironicaly touted as the season of "good will"
He who laughs last thinks slowest.

The total spendathon ! , spend ! spend ! spend ! ( mostly on crap people don't want) ,wether you can afford got it or not , it's lost it's meaning for many , as they dread it coming now.
Sad really , as my 10th Christmas (43yrs back) , gave me very little gift wise , but the excitement of the season and the family get togther was all we loved .
I wish we could roll the clock back in some ways .

I hate the culture of giving cards to people you see everyday! And one for each member of the family. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh h! Just say "merry christmas" - much more heartfelt and cheaper!
