i am starting to feel like a social leper cos i refuse to go on

i know how it works cos the wife and kids are all on and people send them stuff like a cow

and then they get asked questions like how much of a potato are you then at the end it says yes you are 73% potato

then you get people on saying "just having a sandwich then its bed for me "

then loads of people come on and give it the thumbs up and say "so and so likes this"

who gives a ~~~~?

and then theres the photos i dont give two ~~~~s about anyones photo's in a nightclub or next to a tree unless they are naked young fit women

we are now a nation of ~~~~in nosey norris coles and saddo's

Well to be fair most people have their fb accounts set up so that only people on their friends lists can see information about them.

And fb is quite a handy way to stay in contact with people if the forums are down, same as msn is

you won't find me on these twitter, myspace, bebo or facebollocks either... I will admit to trying the fb for a month as i needed to find an old mate (turned out to be in Abu Dhabi now). Once i got his mobile number i decativated the fb thing, was amazed at the amount of dickheads that came out of the woodwork with inane comments during that one month though. I signed off the thing expressing my opinion of the place and the members to all the strange people who I did not know that had decided to add me to their friend list for some stupid ~~~~ing reason... I mean who are you, i don't know you i don't want to either... buy me a beer in pub and we can chat, if i like you i will buy you one back but i still will not add you to some blasted friend list somewhere..

Whats worse is my old mum is on there, how could i write things about my past or swear my head off or say that I am at the pub getting bladdered..... Not good..

I know a place where my mates missus was caught skiving off work coz the daft bird had been banging on about the lovely stuff she had just bought (on her facebook) on her sunny afternoon shopping trip; she had told he boss she was bed ridden with migraines or something like that..

I guess I am a miserable old fart as well but i think you already know that..
