Getting DTV with freeview built in TV

    A stupid one for you to check, but... Have a look at both sides of the tv. My Samsung has a single RF input that's used for both analogue & digital receivers. But some tv's have seperate Analogue & digital RF connections.

    Just check to make sure you only have the single socket.

        what i would do is:
        1. do a factory reset on tv (will be in manual how to do this)
        2. plug only your power and ariel into tv.
        3. its a new tv, so it should be a plug and play tv, you should get options to automatically search for: anologue only, digital only, analogue and digital or manual installation.
        all tv's are diffrent, but you get the idea..
        4. choose search for digital only
        it should search for digital channels and store them.
        if you dont get any channels after this, then you have a problem with your ariel
