    Talk Talk Trauma !

I became a Talk Talk Essentials customer at the beginning of August , which reduced the price of my previous package by ?10 p/m , the first 3 months free and a free wireless router , Brill , NOT ! .
It took me 12 calls over 6 weeks to get the promised , router and i've just been reconnected today after losing both phone and broadband connection for over 16 days !
    Anyone had similar experiences ?

From the few people I know who have changed over to Talk Talk, they all seem yo have the same opinion, they are cheap but the service is absolute shite, sometimes the phrase "You only get what you pay for," is realistic....chuck

Always deal with the consumers with the 0800 numbers because they know if you have any problem you will not hesitate to give them a call.

My sister & brother-in-law had serious problems with talk talk. Routers failing every couple of weeks (especially if more than one wireless connection active), account suspended for no reason, telephone line dead, incredibly slow repair times.

They gave up in the end & went back to BT.

o2 are a good internet provider. Plus if you have an O2 contract or PAYG phone then you get a discount. AOL and Talk talk are the worst of all.

Theres a good reason for that. Probably make more from people disconnecting fees than they actually do from customers who are happy with them. Suppose if your making profit then you cant complain how its done really

                        Talk Talk Trauma !

I am a talktalk customer and have been with them for 5 years.Terrible customer service (all talktalk and no action).I changed my address 3 years ago and was disconnected for two months because i kept the same number, every time they tried to connect me their system kept telling them that the number was already taken.I tried to tell them that the number was taken by me but its very hard to get them to listen. Also in router settings keep an eye on yor line profile as when i upgraded my profile was put on the basic speed by mistake. If everything goes ok it is a good priced service but if you have a problem its hard to get them to listen

Mines an 18 month contract Mate , i think BT have them by the balls , talk talk deny this , but i've challenged them to explain why it's taken 16 days to repair a fault , when BT said if i went back to them , i'd be reconnected in 24-48hrs !
I believe BT control the lines and exchanges , this isn't the 1st time i've left BT and isn't the 1st time i've had a long disconnection , the 1st time i left them and went to tiscali , all was well for 6 weeks and then disconnected for 12 WEEKS !

wouldn't worry about your contract length Mate , if you've been disconnected as long as i have , they're in breach , just tell them so , stop paying them and move !
