My old boy got his done when i was around 7? a number of years ago, i remember it was winter and he took me sledging the day after... Oh man did he suffer for that.

He was a shit-bag when it came to anything even remotely medical, said it wasn't actually that bad, sledging afterwards was not a great idea though
He who laughs last thinks slowest.

needs some serious consideration does the snip, what if you split from the wife/gf then get a new partner who wants a baby ? it happened to an old work m8 of mine, he split up with his partner then found another g/f who was 10 years younger ( he 32 she 22 at the time ), she really wanted a baby so he had to pay something like 3-4 grand to go private for a reversal because the nhs wouldnt do it, and he said the pain was worse for the reversal than the snip, i never found out if the reversal worked tho. oh yeh and my brother in law had it done then split with my sister not that long after, this was when they was both in their early thirties.

I hear what your saying gmb, but I didn't just decide to do this last night, have put a lot of thought into it, and to the best of my knowledge the health service in Ireland do cover the reversal, but will get a definite on that before I take the plunge. As we all know, the best laid plans do go to shit sometimes ( your sis & bro in law ) no offence m8, just an example of what can happen. But if I start going down that road of thinking, then I don't think I should be with her now, ya know what I mean. It wouldn't be a very positive attitude towards my missus if I was to be thinking of the next one. But you do make a very valid point for anyone who's not sure of their relationship. Hope I haven't put the blight on mine now.

Hello mate, the snips the way to go for sure but be aware that there is a `small percentage` of people who have problems later through scar tissue. This can vary between little twinges and really bad shooting pains that put you on the floor,i got snipped ten year ago and still get grief from time to time(basically i just put up with it or get a ball taken off and hope it helps)Ive had half a dozen injections and three operations over the years to try and fix it but as each op leaves its own scar tissue its not too good. The mrs calls me grumbles for a reason,im sorry to the ladies out there i cant even begin to describe ball pain to you!Go for it mate,im sure you`ll be fine.....

Your GP/Healthcare specialist will go through all the scenario's that gmb points out, I was 29 when I had mine done, 24 years ago & just after my 3rd. I don't know how old you are reddevil but it does need a lot of consideration, after a few days of pain, a pair of medicine balls & a walk like John Wayne all will be ok, if your balls aint this colour, beleive me they will be.
              Good Luck

No, not for me . No ~~~~er was ever going to come near my town halls with a scalpel

                  THE TRUTH
                  The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

I had plans to get it done a few years back, but lost the bottle. i had got very positive feedback from blokes that got it done.. till i mentioned it to my brother-in-law, who also had it done,
He said his sex drive went down after he had it done!! he reckoned this was down to the fact that he didnt feel like a "real" man anymore cos he couldnt procreate.
He and my Sister have since split up.. ..Mind you he was a bit of a ~~~~in eejit
