hi all
hope you all had a good xmas , just a question , is there anything or anyone out there that could tell me how to check a company that is advertising on the web ??

I ordered a pair of uggs for my daughter end of november still not here !! they have sent tracking numbers that show there at heathrow but they have been there since 19th dec ??

the web site is still going !!! http://www.ukuggcardy.co.uk/ but the one i order through is .com

i can still log in under the .co.uk one ... and i can see my order ...

i have sent emails , they have replied but not answering all my questions and seem to be blagging me i think ...

any help or info would be good ... and if anyone is thinking of ordering be aware ...

they say shipping takes 4-7 days
was it shipped within the uk customs could have it

i put the tracking number that they have sent me and its saying the parcel is at heathrow airport ...but its the second one they have sent me ..1st on didnt even work , i think this parcel company is part of the same company ..

Doesnt look good but the couriers say they are a working partner with Yodel in the UK. might be worth a call to see if they are a real couriers.

More Ugg woes and warnings

a week ago the Mrs said she wanted Ugg boots and decided to search online. i told her find em and i'd check if they were dodgy(Thanks Kingy999 for this thread reminding me) but next thing i know she has them ordered from saleuggss.org when she told me they have money taken and she cant log on to the website. i did a bit of checking and they are fakes and there was a story online about a womans card being compromised shortly after using them. The Mrs phoned visa and they more or less told her your fault. i made her phone back and cancel card(reissue new). waiting for a few days now to see if boots come as per contract then doing a chargeback if possible.

anyway long story short people be warned, if UGG is in the website name(except original company) they are fake. if DECKERS OUTLET CORPO is on your credit card bill check it out and if you are looking for the real thing check the UGG company website for authorised sellers.

hiya, im also having major problems with this company, i ordered my boots on 17th december 2010, my invoice was for ?56.58 but they proceeded to take ?62.86 from my account without telling me, and the order went through twice even though i only entered my payment details once... i have still not recieved my boots and now my emails are being totally ignored, i was given a tracking number which never existed so emailed back and they sent me another one which also never existed... i was also promised in an email i would recieve them in time for christmas, yeah right, what in 10 years time!!

I have since printed off all my paperwork and taken it to the bank you immediately cancelled my card and reissued me with a new one, im 100% sure this site is a scam, the fact there ignoring all my emails and giving me fake tracking numbers says it all, plus why call it UK uggcardy when its not even based in the UK, thats not mentioned anywhere at all on their website, also there phone number on there website does not exist.... i strongly recommend to anyone DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!

Sorry forgot to update. Mrs Grizzs arrived on time and she was happy enough with them so no chargeback. that was a diff company though salesuggs.org. funny you mention the extra money though, salesuggs added on a few quid as well, cheeky f()ckers. if it was up to me id have got bucks back for being fake.

The uggs above are fake. They are chinese replicas, that are not of the quality of uggs.

There is a thing on moneysavingexpert, that lists the authorised resellers in the UK, and those are not one of them. If they are coming from China or anywhere else, then they are fake, and a waste of money.

Your better off paying the full price, and getting them from a shop, or authorised retailer. I paid ?160 for a pair of classic uggs for me misses for chrimbo. Shes chuffed, and im glad I spent the extra to get the real mccoy.

If you paid via switch, you may be able to get the bank to take the money back. I think its called a redemption claim, where the bank forcefully takes the money back from the other account.
