what I don't like about Tesco is that the vast majority of their own-brand products (that I've used) are very poor quality, including their petrol. I haven't used it for a long time since I realised that I was getting on average 50-60 mile less per tank

could you give us more info on this mate its the first time i ever heard of this although i never buy the stuff from them.

tins of tomatoes for 31p makes me realise that petrol is actually quite cheap when you look at the relative amount of work involved in getting oil from the ground into your car and toms from the field into a can

I think it's answered here, like I said, after clocking each tank load 50-60 miles less, which I started after noticing that I was having to fill up too soon

well it was over 10 years ago, I noticed when I had to fill up and I thought to myself "I only filled up the other day" so I started resettin my trip odometer each time I filled up so I could see what I was getting. I was shocked at how few I got from Tesco. No noticible difference with Sainsburys and Morrisons though.

So, just to add to this thread, just been to tesco.com, downloaded some
"value toilet paper 12 roll pack" - said on the shelf "2400 shts"
How do they expect you to get 2400 shits out of one packet, use each sheet both sides twice, or spilt the 2 ply and use each side once?

Perhaps somebody could be bothered to link to this site here if that makes sense

You can let used sheets to dry and reuse them again! Just scratch dry s..t off! So You can get more that they give!
Hmmm....after wiping Your ass other side of paper is still usable....

MEAT-CITY TESCO - PUT NOTHING BUT EXPENSIVE POLISH BEER ON THE REDUCED TO CLEAR SHELF, THEN ALL OTHER ITEMS, LEAVE THEM ON THEIR RESPECTIVE SHELVES WITH THE RTC LABEL ON THEM

THIS WILL STOP THE POLISH HOGGING THE RTC SHELF - STOPPING US INGLISH FROM BUYING CHEAP STUFF.

YES I DO WHEN/WHERE POSSABLE EMPTY THE RTC SHELF - PURLY TO STOP THE POLISH BUYING IT ALL.

OTHER METHODS WOULD BE TO PUT A POLE SAT DISH OUTSIDE FOR THEM TO LOOK AT.
