my wifeOh go on then, give me the exact figure of someone you know, which part of the public sector they worked for, how long they worked there, how much they contributed and what they receive in pension, so we can be specific.
Otherwise you may as well name yourself Dave Cameron and just quote nonsense generalisations.

Aye well I don't see the Conservative government looking at executives pensions either. They have managed to pit working people against each other, usual Conservative trick and the country fell for it hook line and sinker.
They should have a higher tax rate for those who earn stupid amounts and use that to bring the levels of pensions in the private sector up to the same level as public sector, rather than drag everyone but their voters down.My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far

The reason he gets such a large pension is because a useless pratt called Gorden Brown let him get away with it when the goverment took over RBS
If any body wanted to buy a pension like the public sector gets its about 29c of your earings
How much would you need to save to buy a public sector pension? ***8211; Telegraph BlogsComment

The pensions were originaly shafted by Labour when they slashed the Tax relief on pension payments. In reality those with the larger pensions got shafted more than those on low pensions but the low pension people still got shafted. The latest pension cuts are only going to affect those earning over ?15,000. For a true idea where we are getting shafted here's a list of where we get shafted and who was responsible:
