no body helping me out neither my state pension is ?117 per week my private pension when I took it out was quoted as over 8 thousand per year what I am actually get is just over 2 thousand most is because of an asshole called Gorden Brown who altered the taxes on pensions in 2002 after that my pension value just froze .So sorry I could not care less about public pensions because no body in the unions or labour party cared about Brown robbing mine.

It seems quite sad that people are back in the 1980's "me me me, what's in it for me" frame of mind again, just how the Conservatives like the place to run. Divide the country so that people don't notice what a bunch of sneaky self centred basseds they are making the rich/poor gap ever wider. My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far

Mine was coursed by the labour party the party that hates working people unless they work in public service, the party that flooded the country with cheap labour to keep wages in private sector low, the party that wanted everbody on benifits and nearly succededIt seems quite sad that people are back in the 1980's "me me me, what's in it for me" frame of mind again, just how the Conservatives like the place to run. I'm not sure whether the Euro and EU failing would be a good thing really, I was 11 when we joined the EU. However if the UK were outside the "club" as it were then the EU would impose tariffs on imports, much the way they do on goods form other countries. So leaving the EU might not be a good thing, unless we mainly export to the US, Asia, Africa and Oceania - I'm not sure that's the case. So would probably be worse off exporting to what was left of the EU.
As for the Euro failing, yeah that would be quite spectacular, provided they didn't owe us any money, better not to get paid back in mickey mouse money. It's a shame the pound seems to have stayed at the level it has against the Euro, 87p per Euro? Used to be much higher, which is bad for exports, but good for imports. I suppose if I worked in a bank I'd argue that dealing with a single currency in the EU is cheaper for me, and the same argument for a business really.
I'll wait to see it crach and burn.My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far

You're getting there mate... that's the real world. Another description for it is 'increasing the mortgage interest rate'. Hey, it's a typical problem that private business' are experiencing every day due to the cost of borrowing. The unfortunate difference is: banks don't give extra time to for you pay... if you can't afford, they just pull the plug - no business, no employees and no pensions

Aye they tried that with my original mortgage really. sent me a nice letter telling me the endowment they sold me wasn't going to be worth enough and if I'd like to take out another with them it might cover it... Told 'em to stick it where the sun wouldn't shine, sold the endowment, moved to a repayment mortgage with someone else and it's all due to be paid off within the next 2 years

I've had the pleasure of being shafted both ways. 24 Years and 32 days (but I'm not counting) in the Armed Forces to see my pension increases change from the RPI to the CPI meaning I'll lose thousands over the course of my pension. I then joined a Private Company on a Private pension to see it change from a final salary pension to a CARE pension, meaning my pension will be reduced by over 50%. Mind you as long as my money goes to paying for immigrants and junkies that are too stoned to work I suppose I can't complain.Comment
