    23% VAT diabolical.

After so many years I still not get it, why we have to pay VAT????.

You do not have to pay VAT in most countries.

Where the VAT money is spend in UK remains to be seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????

Rumor going around that clearly states that in the year ???? somebody needed a war - so they got the peasants to pay for it - then some tw*at decided it was such a good scam they carried on with the idea.

I sat in a packed pub last week, having a pint, minding my own business. I felt someone touch me from behind, at first I thought it was someone brushing past going to the bar, but then I felt a soft hand slide up my back, it came round my shoulder and felt for my buttons. I thought " This should be good" Then the other hand came round my waist, soft as silk, my buttons were undone, slowly, one by one. I never looked round but could smell expensive aftershave, and the soft touch said it all. As the last button was undone I turned to face this mysterious person, it was.................

The problem with the Nice treaty was that I voted no.
The gobshite puppets didn't like that so I was obliged to go and vote no once more.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the second vote was rigged.
The muppets are running scared on presenting this referendum to the public expecting a backlash from the austerity measures inflicted on the public. There is also a movement to not pay the 100 euro service charge which is growing stronger by the day.
This charge could be the rock the muppets perish on.

i also voted no and no again. second time around they definitely scared the sh1t out of half the country with their threats about what would happen if we voted "the wrong way". this time though what the ~~~~ can they say, the worst has already happened.
one of these days the fcuckers will actually listen to what we want, i hope anyway........

at least i got the satisfaction of saying i told you so to a few yes voters

What ever you think of him , he along with 18 TD's have now voiced their opposition to this service charge.

Perhaps your leader fancies Angela and doesn't know how to say "no"?

I smell a referendum coming on in Ireland. Not for the new treaty but for the EURO itself, but first off, the treaty referendum..

If Ireland can negotiate a total watering down of the CCCTB then any subsequent referendum should pass easily. If not ... then its back to a Punt riding uneasily on the back of Sterling.
