You seem insistent on continuing this but I'm not debating it anymore with you, it's boring and I've got better things to do with my time.

Snowy is right...they were both idiots at the end of the day. They'll both get cautions and the guard will get retired. End of.

So a gobby chav could ruin the guards career, this is boring?

Next, people will complain at travel costs because guards demand more pay to deal with gobby chavs.

Well no charges brought against either of them!

BBC News - 'Big man' video: No charges over passenger thrown off train

"The Crown Office said it was not in the public interest to prosecute the pair."

Good news for the sensible for a change.

Shame the gobby chav didn't get done for fare dodging though.

Even though he didn't hence the no charges brought against either of them.

Think the big guy was extremely lucky to not get a common assault charge though

The only person who benefited anything from all of this is the conductor. He milked the incident for nearly 2 months of sick leave.

I have to say that I am a bit disappointed as I was hoping to see the 'Big Man' get 6 months and the resultant 'have a go hero' arguments on the net and in all the papers.
The news would be full of interviews with his 'disgusted' family, disgruntled old fellas from the last war, the odd soap dodger backing up the fare dodger, debates on Question Time and the outbursts from the frothy mouthed outraged, whilst the fare dodger's Dad's sordid sex life was spread all over The Sun.

Yes, the papers should have picked up on this, as a good message to say the general law abiding public should not put up with these chavs.

As for the Guard milking it, 2 months was probably standard co policy to be removed from his duties due to the legal procedings.

"2 months" and "milking" don't normally go together when talking about someone taking the piss.

I'm only having a laugh with you but you are quite sensitive about it aren't you?

Are you 'The Big Man' or related to him?

If fact no don't answer that. You'll post a sermon about the 'yoof of today' having no respect for the law.

Lets just put it to bed shall we.
They were BOTH in the wrong, one way or another, the courts have seen this and therefore both are free to get on with their lives without charge

                        Oh get over it.

There's more to worry about in life than some non-entity of a story about two guys on a train.

Ok, you ran out of reasoned points about the discussion.

As I say, who was taking the piss out of who through this thread?

Not really and to be honest I don't really care.
You're like a 6yr old who has to have the last word.

This thread is finished...case ended. I won't be posting again but I'm POSITIVE you will so you can get your last word across.

Knock yourself out fella...you'll only embarass yourself if you do.
